That's right! As of June 8th, 2022 The Traverse City Curling Club is ecstatic to be the owners of our own building, bringing our members and guests dedicated ice in a state of the art curling center right here in TC!
The Traverse City Curling Center will be a 28,000-square-foot, curling facility located at the northwest corner of Garfield Road and South Airport Road in the Cherryland Center (in a federally designated Opportunity Zone). With 5 sheets of regulation curling ice and spectator viewing, the Curling Center will be host to numerous events, including regional tournaments, local leagues, corporate events, and USA Curling sanctioned competitions.
Most importantly, The Curling Center will be full of opportunity for EVERYONE. It will offer active and social engagement through programs, adaptive equipment and leagues for everyone in the community—no matter your age, ability or expertise. With curling comes a culture of physical and mental wellness, connection, and respect, whether on the ice or within the greater community. With a team dynamic comes motivation and accountability for staying active and engaged — a little healthy competition helps too! This house builds active lifestyles, economic impact, social connections, respect for all, and youth programs.

It’s easy to see why curling is the fastest growing Winter Olympic sport in America — young and old alike take to the ice for friendly competition and community. Our club is a place where new curlers will feel welcome in an environment where everyone can learn and compete together.
Our Learn to Curl classes and Mentored Curling Program give new curlers the opportunity to fall in love with curling while becoming competent and prepared to play in our recreational leagues. Our Rec Leagues are where Club members enjoy the unique comradery and competition of this wonderful sport.
More and more new curlers join our vibrant community every year. We look forward to seeing you out on the ice!
